Tuna and Mushroom Pizza

There are hundreds of ways to make a pizza topping. You can fill it with meat, fish, tomatoes, lettuce, sausage, pepperoni, shrimp .. it is all up to you! In its land of origin, Italy, pizza is commonly used as a main meal not as a snack such in Indonesia. The main ingredient in cooking pizza is flour, yeast, olive oil, and varied toppings. It is not required to use high protein flour such as those used to make bread. Using all purpose flour are actually going to produce a soft pizza. In choosing olive oil, choose a dark color. The greener and the darker the color, the more fragrant pizza will be. This oil extracted from the olive fruit extract on the first screening, with no heating and the addition of chemicals. Another ingredient that important is cheese. Pizza without cheese certainly does not taste like pizza. Many types of cheese are used to make pizza, but commonly used in Indonesia is mozarella.

Originated from the tuna that I bought at the supermarket, I took the initiative to make pizza. Along with the grated cheese, pieces of mushrooms, tomatoes, and green peppers, I made a pan of pizza with a thin crust for my family meals. Yummy!!

I’ll stop my ramblings and immediately write down the recipe :

Pizza bread : (adapted from majalah sedap th 2002)
250gr flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tbsp instant yeast
125gr warm water
1 tbsp olive oil

Sift flour and mix with water and yeast. Add warm water and olive oil, and knead. Finally, add salt and knead again until soft. Stand the dough aside for 15 minutes. Roll and place it on a 24 cm diameter pizza pan that has been smeared with olive oil. Prick the surface with a fork. The dough ready to be topped

1/2 piece onion
1 clove of garlic
2 tbsp olive oil
200gr shredded tomato
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp salt
1 tsp basil
1 tsp oregano

heat the olive oil, saute onion and garlic until wilted. Add the grated tomatoes, tomato paste and cook until thickened. Add salt, sugar, oregano and basil. stir briefly then remove and let cool

Pout the concase over the prepared pizza dough earlier.

Slice the toping into dice-sized pieces. This time I used onions, mushrooms, tuna and green pepper.

bake with a temperature of 200 degrees for 20 minutes.

Abu hasan and I eat it with excitement. And what about Hasan? It turns out that he does not like pizza hehehee …….
